Cluster place

The history of the building where we located the cluster's headquarters and the activities carried out there so far proves that it is a good address for creative people.

The first headquarters of the 3T Creative Cluster is a neo-Renaissance villa in the center of Bielsko-Biała at ul. Gazownia 9. The building was built before 1894 as the headquarters of a credit bank; is currently under conservatorship. In the past, he held, among others, the role of a residential building, since 2002 it has been the location of the Grafis Projekt design studio, and since 2008 also the People-Innowacje-Design Foundation, which runs a number of projects related to the promotion and education in the field of industrial design, innovation and new technologies.

In the years 2003-2005 and 2010-2011, the building underwent a thorough external and internal renovation in order to adapt it to new functions. While maintaining the atmosphere of the 19th century building, it was redesigned so that it could act as a design bank and be a place for organizing cultural events. Since 2013, the People-Innowacje-Design Foundation has been organizing and presenting subsequent editions of the Projekt Arting industrial design competition (earlier editions, until 2010, were hosted by Galeria Bielska BWA). This year's competition is organized under the slogan "city_happy" .

As part of the initiative entitled D-meetings , events and exhibitions accompanying other Bielsko festivals were also organized at Gazownica 9, including: Neolabel - NeoFashionJamboree event (2011), Audiophil Design - events accompanying Bielska Zadymka Jazzowa (2012, 2013, 2014), Car Design - meetings with designers and an exhibition of works by students of WFP ASP Kraków (2012), LED Design - meetings with lighting designers and workshops for children (2012), there were also meetings at the table - Feasts (2015-2016).

Another of the Foundation's implemented ideas is the project entitled: Design Bank , consisting in creating a place for activities related to design: exhibitions, exhibitions, training, workshops, consulting. A space for design and gathering information about design, a space for education and development.

The place where we start our cluster activity already has a distinguished tradition of hosting cultural events and initiatives supporting creative industries in various forms. We hope that now, thanks to our joint work, this address will become widely recognized as a strong center of creativity, friendly and open to bold, innovative solutions, where you will find good partners for your projects and inspiration to act.
